How to Accelerating Firefox

Firefox 3 is the best browser and very fast browser compared with other browsers (IE, Opera etc.), Firefox comes with all the latest features for the web browser that will make browsing more efficient. Here are some tips to make Firefox to be faster along with short descriptions:

1. Enable pipelining
Browsers are usually very polite, that is, send a request to the server and then wait for a response before proceeding to request a new request to the server. Pipelining is a more aggressive technique that lets them send multiple requests before the responses received by the server, this often reduces the time in the download web page.

* To enable
* Type about: config and press [Enter] in the address bar Fierefox,
* Double click network.http.pipelining and network.http.proxy.pipelining so that the value is to be true.
* Then double click network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and enter the number 8, and then click the OK button.

Just remember that some servers do not support pipelining, you can restore the settings Network.http.pipelining and network.http.proxy.pipelining to false again if you have any problems.

2. Render the web page quickly
In general, the complexity of web page may take a while to download. Firefox does not want to make you wait, so by default will display what is received every 0.12 seconds (the "content Notify intervals"). With this it will help the browser more sharp, often increasing the redraw will also increase the total time to open a web page, so this will improve performance.

* Type about: config and press [Enter]
* Then right click on any place on the window and select New> integer. then type the name
content.notify.interval as your preferences, click OK, enter 500000 (five hundred thousand, not fifty thousand) and click OK again.
* Right-click again on the window and select New> Boolean. This type content.notify.ontimer set to True and then click Ok.

3. Faster loading
If your Firefox on your mouse does not move or you are not touching the keys on the keyboard for 0.75 seconds (the content switch threshold occurred) where Firefox enters a low frequency interrupt mode, which means its interface becomes less responsive, but the web pages you open akan faster. By reducing the content switch threshold can improve the performance of Firefox.

* Type about: config and press [Enter],
* Then right click in the window and select New> integer. then type content.switch.threshold, click OK, enter the number 250000 (second quarter) and click OK.

4. No interruptions
You can take the last step even further with mengsetting Firefox to ignore the interruption of all users until the web has opened halama total. This is a little drastic as Firefox could not have seen the reaction when opening the web page for some time, but please try and see how this works for you.

* Type about: config, press [Enter],
* Then right click in the window and select New> Boolean. then type content.interrupt.parsing, click OK.

5. Block Flash
Very boring if you see a Flash animation that is everywhere continuously. Fortunately there is a solution that is easy. By installing AddOns Flashblock extension (flashblock.mozdev.org) and it will block all Flash applets from loading, so with this web page will be displayed more quickly. But if you find some Flash content that is useful and you want to show it, just click the placeholder to download and view the Flash content.

6. Increasing the size of the cache memory
When you browse the web with Firefox Firefox will then save the images and scripts in the local memory cache, where they can be taken if you return to the same page that you visit. If you have a lot of RAM (2 GB more), then with the increase in the size of the cache memory Firefox will improve performance.

* Type about: config and press [Enter],
* Then right click anywhere in the window, and select New> integer.
* Type browser.cache.memory.capacity, click OK, enter the number 65536 and click OK, then restart your browser to get a new cache is greater.

7. Compress data
If you use the internet connection is very slow , you may feel will never feel the performance of Firefox to get the most maximum / optimal, but is not necessarily true. Install toonel.net (toonel.net) is a Java application where the smart toonel.net akan create new routes traffic through the server toonel.net own, do toonel.net compressed content data at the same time, so the data received by the computer you much less.
